The Seradin - History of Fate

Fate is from the race known as Seradin, a mostly Mean volatile spiteful race bent on the destruction and domination of the entire universe. There overpowering need to dominate stems from there history of enslavement by other races . Over time they had been bought and sold by various keepers until they staged an uprising on a highly advanced civilization. Taking over there keepers world and calling it there own, they began to learn and use there technology to build a massive fleet before setting off to take over the universe.

Led by hate and anger , time and again they ravaged the near by planets of resources and killing any who would stand in there way. But A select few of the Serendin people started to realize the error of there ways, and secretly began raising there children to understand the importance of other species and there philosophies, that they should not be the ones to dictate over these peoples and forcing them is wrong.

This movement did not sit well with the High chancellor at the time and he demanded there eradication, this lead to a rebellion of sorts. Several years there pseudo home planet was ravaged by war until the rebels escaped taking a large portion of there people with them. They have been hiding ever since.

Divided the the rebels began to plant there own seeds of destruction, sending in moles, these children were raised to become warriors, compassionate and understanding, but fierce in battle. there job was to guide there people back to the light and to build a new empire. But the ruthlessness of the Seradin was not to be overcome in a day, and the fight goes on...

So the Good news today is we are no offcially listed on several Webcomic listing sites, and fans are starting to trickle in. I am so glad you guys like it so far, as little as there is ! *grins*

Greetings friends and comic lovers!

Well its a new year, and the perfect time for new beginnings. I can barely put into words how excited I am to be working with Jeff on WBTG, and how especially proud I am that we're able to put it online each week for you to enjoy!

I just want to say thanks for reading and supporting us, and I look forward to making you laugh for many, many issues to come!

Writers perspective - Writing on a galactic scale!

It has always been my passion, writing for comics, and with my Daytripper saga ( currently in development) my 48 volume Space opera Epic, I have learned a few things. But Worlds Beyond the Grave is something I have always wanted to do. Comedy Shorts with an epic story arch spanning the universe.

Being a Huge Fan of Sci-Fi i draw allot of my inspiration from my favorites, Aliens, Cowboy- Bebop, Trigun, Blade Runner, and of course now Avatar. You will see Nuances of these in my comic ( keep an eye for my references ) they will be subtle but they will be paying homage to all that inspires me!

When I write for WBTG:TSOF, I draw form my love for sci-fi, and of course my experience with my cats, Kaiede, and Edward Wong Hau Pepaleu Tivrusky the 4th!. LOL ( yeah that's right I named my Girl cat Edward.) Both Natalie and I Have had our cats pretty much our entire relationship and we both love them so much! , so when i decided to do something uber cute, they were a perfect resources for my cuteness research!

With 15 episodes Now written, I continue on the escapades of Fate as he fights for the future of us all. Stay Tuned for his exploits as there about to take off, to the stars and Beyond!

Worlds Beyond the Grave - The Story of Fate - The Artists Interpretation.

Our web Comic, as new as it is, has a feel to it, one that myself and Natalie both agree has been lost in the web comic world. Good old pencil and paper style. Do you remember those things? those odd pieces of flimsy tree corpses pressed into flat rectangular shapes , and sticks of wood containing graphite that you would hold in your hand and magically lines would appear as you dragged it across the non digital canvas!

Allot has been gained from digital media, great style and amazing artwork, but if we forget the roots then all is lost in the traditional sense. That is why we are sticking to the good ole' pen and paper style, it brings back that nostalgic old school newspaper comic strip back . We both agree this brings a special touch to our characters and there universe, and that they wouldn't be the same with out them.

But there is something to be said of the digital constructs that we know and love today, i cannot say I'm not a fan , but what I can say is its good to touch the roots again!

Worlds Beyond the Grave - The Story of Fate

Our story follows the Cute, Cuddly, dangerous and violent exploits of Fate, an intergalactic fugitive on the run with an unlikely Companion, a feline native to Earth. After mysteriously escaping from galactic prison, Fate finds himself in an adventure spanning our galaxy and beyond, meeting strange new beings and exploring vast worlds of wonder and awe. Follow our unlikely Hero on his escapades through this delightfully absurd universe we call home.
